Abstract Submission

DEADLINE: 15 January 2019

Abstracts are invited for the symposium in the following themes:

  • Scientific pulsed power research in the domain of high energy physics, EM launchers, radiation sources, intense beams, high power microwaves, plasmas, accelerators and lasers
  • High power electronics
  • Compact and repetitive pulsed power generators
  • HPM and RF generation and applications
  • High energy pulsed power supplies
  • Opening and closing switches, including solid state, vacuum, magnetic and spark gap devices
  • Gaseous, liquid and solid insulation studies
  • High speed transient diagnostics
  • Numerical modelling and computational techniques
  • High voltage components
  • Pulsed power applications in medicine, biology, and pollution control
  • Industrial applications, including food processing, chemical, mechanical, plasmas and aviation

Please send your half-page abstract, without figures and references and formatted as a WORD© file, to b.m.novac@lboro.ac.uk with the subject "UK Pulsed Power Symposium 2019". The requirements for the final manuscript and information about oral presentations and posters will be provided with notification of the paper acceptance.
